At Croydon Training and Consulting we are committed to promoting mental health and well-being in the workplace. We understand that creating a positive and supportive work environment is essential for the well-being of employees and the success of businesses.
Our goal is to cultivate authentic connections which empower individuals and organisations with the skills and knowledge necessary to promote mental well-being, reduce stigma, and improve outcomes for those experiencing mental health problems.
We work with businesses to improve the psychological health and safety of their staff and manage psychosocial risks. We provide consultancy and deliver industry leading courses in
Mental Health First Aid® as well as offering comprehensive and evidence-based training tailored to your organisation’s needs.
Mental health is a critical aspect of overall health and well-being, and it is becoming increasingly recognised as a key factor in productivity and success in the workplace. Our courses provide participants with a deeper understanding of mental health conditions and equip them with the skills they need to recognise and respond to signs of mental distress. Our training programs are designed to be accessible, engaging, and relevant to the needs of today's workplace, and our team of experienced trainers are dedicated to providing a supportive and inclusive learning environment.
Whether you're an individual looking to develop your own mental health literacy, or an organisation looking to create a supportive and inclusive workplace, we invite you to explore our services and find out how we can help.
1 in 5 Australians will experience a mental health condition in any given year.
We will all be touched by mental illness at some stage in our lives either personally, professionally, or as someone who lives with, loves or cares for a person with lived experience. Every year mental illness has a $13 billion direct financial cost to Australian businesses and Safe Work Australia reports that 92% of serious work-related mental health condition claims are attributed to work-related stress.
Hi, my name is Libby, and I am the Founder and Principal of Croydon Training and Consulting.
I am an experienced community worker, advocate, teacher, facilitator, and a Licensed Instructor with Mental Health First Aid Australia.
Over the last 25 years I have had the privilege of walking alongside, teaching, mentoring, counselling, and coaching some of our most vulnerable and resilient community members in rural, regional, and remote NSW. I strongly believe in the transformation of power of education and see knowledge as the key to self-determination and empowerment.
To be kind and gentle with ourselves and others, by building nurturing relationships and human connections that lead to action.
Speaking and acting with truth, love, authenticity and empathy, whilst
setting and maintaining healthy boundaries.
Promoting innovation and
maintaining genuine curiosity of others' perspectives.
To connect authentically to self, community and country. Holding space to support and nurture each other respectfully.
♥ Let's start a conversation! ♥
Mental illness has become the leading cause of sickness and long-term work incapacity in Australia. Mental Health First Aid Australia's vision is a world where we all have the skills to support people experiencing mental health problems.
Join them in their pursuit of that vision, and the setting of their ambitious but achievable goal: to train 1 in 10 Australians by 2030 - the tipping point for a widespread and long-term community change.
